Course description
The WSET Level 3 Award in Spirits is an advanced-level qualification for professionals and enthusiasts wishing to acquire a detailed understanding of the spirits of the world and develop the tasting skills required to accurately describe and evaluate a spirit. The learning has been timetabled so that students have plenty of opportunity to work at their own pace and time has been built in for revision both during the course and before the examination.
The 30 hour guided study course will be run as a combination of self study, virtual (one or two hour webinars) and a 3 day in- person classroom tuition. The classroom session will take place at the Tasting Room, Epsom, Auckland.
August 19th: Virtual (1 hour induction Webinar)
Week 1, August 26th - 1st September: Virtual and Self-Guided
Week 2, September 2nd - 8th: 3 day in-person classroom (Mon, Tue, Wed, Auckland) and Self Guided
Week 3, September 9th -15th: Virtual and Self Guided
Week 4, September 16th - 22nd: Virtual and Self Guided
Week 5, September 23rd - 29th: Virtual and Self Guided
Weeks 6 & 7, September 30th - 13th October: Self Guided
October 14th : Examination ( Auckland)
2024 Course Fee $1995.00 inc gst, includes WSET course study materials, tuition, spirits, and exam fee.
Please note : Students must hold WSET Level 2 Award in Spirits to be able to enrol onto this course
