NZSWS - The Wine School
The New Zealand School of Wines and Spirits (NZSWS) is New Zealand's leading provider of WSET courses and the only school in NZ approved to teach WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines.
Black Estate, North Canterbury
The New Zealand School of Wines and Spirits (NZSWS) was established in 2006 by Jane Skilton MW. It is NZ's leading provider of WSET courses and the only WSET-approved school to be owned and operated by a Master of Wine.
NZSWS has highly qualified tutors and all its courses are delivered by either Masters of Wine or WSET Diploma Level 4 graduates. Small class sizes so that each student receives hands-on and attentive tuition, exemplary wines, and highly experienced qualified tutors ensure that all students have the best possible learning experience.
In the last 18 years NZSWS has taught winemakers, viticulturists, cellar door staff, marketers, restaurant owners, bar staff, sommeliers, winery owners and many enthusiastic consumers.
Although its head office is in Auckland, NZSWS is committed to supporting students in the regions. Its tutors, based in Auckland, Wellington and Blenheim, travel extensively to deliver WSET courses across New Zealand.
WSET courses are currently available in 72 countries and in the 2022/2023 academic year over 140,000 people registered to sit a WSET examination.
All our courses are delivered by either Masters of Wine or WSET Diploma Level 4 graduates.
